On December 28, 2025,
a significant meeting of the All India Banjara Seva Sangh (AIBSS) was held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, under the chairmanship of the National President, Dr. T.C. Rathod, with the guidance of Shri K.G. Banjara and the coordination of State President Dr. Govardhan Banjara. State-level workers were present at this meeting. National President Dr. T.C. Rathod gave several important suggestions, stating that to take AIBSS to the district, tehsil, and Tanda levels, the workers need to be activated, and youth wing, women's wing, legal wing, health wing, and media wing must be formed. Shri K.G. Banjara appealed to the affluent members of the community to avoid unnecessary expenses on occasions like birthdays, Ganga Prasad ceremonies, and weddings, and instead provide financial assistance to the needy members of the community. State President Dr. Govardhan Banjara proposed celebrating World Banjara Day on April 8th with great fanfare, which was approved by Shri K.G. Banjara, who announced that World Banjara Day would be celebrated on April 8, 2026, with the presence of thousands of members of the Banjara community. Shri Ram Singh initiated a program to empower the youth and women of the community by providing them with training in police, army, and other vocational skills. Journalist Dashrath Bhai proposed conducting a census of the Banjara community in Gujarat. The responsibility of the media cell was entrusted to Shri N. Bhati and journalist Magan Jeet. Youth worker Sohan Kelut suggested organizing caste certificate camps and mass marriages. Co-chairman Shri Ganga Ji Rahad spoke about raising awareness of health insurance. Treasurer Shri Naran Rathod donated to the needy members of the community on the occasion of his daughters' weddings. He was praised at the meeting for this act, and others were encouraged to take inspiration from him. Deputy Chief Mr. Pintu Bhai Banjara always showed readiness to cooperate and support initiatives for the benefit of the community. Mr. K.G. Banjara requested the National President to include Mr. Jitendra Bhai Banjara (former president), journalist Mr. Maganjit, and Mr. Ranjit Bhai in the national executive committee of AIBSS. Mr. Rajendra Sabawat, Mr. Bharat Bansilal Banjara, Mr. Ganesh Udaji Kelut, and other respected members were present at the meeting. The vote of thanks was given by journalist Mr. Maganji Banjara.
